Embroidery

I had a great deal of fun making embroideries for everyone for Aveomas, and now that I'm doing that make-stuff meme for five people, I think I'll continue. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of everything before it had to be sent off, but I'll try to get pictures of the new ones, and then we'll be golden.

Here's what I've done so far:
- H got a human cell and an animal cell, with all the little mitochondria and golgi bodies and everything (and I think it'll be the first of a science line-- no one embroiders science diagrams, or at least not enough. I want to do bubble chamber diagrams and star charts and molecular layouts and crystal sructures and double helixes. It'll be great.)
- C got a portrait of the Little Mermaid (which was the first one I did. I think I want to do more fan-images and portrait-type things. But probably my own fandoms first, then I'll start taking commissions on other people's. Starting with the Doctor.)
- A got a Bluebird of Happiness and a Red Bird of Grumpiness, which were shamelessly ganked from Andrea Zuill's notecards, which came out great. I need to get pictures to send in to her, they turned out so great. (and they make me want to come up with my own designs, my own funny little creatures)
- D got a little owl that was based on some freeware stickers I found, but modified to look cuter.

And Urban Threads has some fantastic embroidery designs that I want so bad. I got the free Poe ones, and I think they have periodic free ones for special occasions all the time, so there's that.

But I think mostly I'll be making up my own designs, and maybe publishing a few-- most of the embroidery sites are all grannyish and now fannish enough. I want to do new things!
